Introduction of China Electronics Enterprises Association (CEEA)

Founded in 1983, China Electronics Enterprises Association (CEEA) is a national and industrial social organization formed voluntarily by enterprise units and individuals engaged in the research, development, production, operation and sales of electronic information products and information services. The Association is registered under the supervision of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

In English, the Association is referred to as China Electronics Enterprises Association, abbreviated as CEEA. The president of the current eighth board of directors is Luo Tao; the vice president units are over ten well-known enterprises in the industry, among which INESA (Group) Co., Ltd.. The Association currently has nearly 1,000 member units, distributed throughout the country, including enterprises and institutions of the manufacturing and service businesses relating to the electronic information industry. The Association has twelve branches, including the Information Technology Commission, Information System Engineering Supervision Branch, Energy Branch and the Shanghai Representative Office, etc.

Guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of “Three Represents”, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches, the Association aims to extensively contact domestic and international electronic information enterprises, institutions, and peer organizations in the industry as bridges and links between the government and enterprises, and between the government and the industry, to strive to serve members, the industry, the society, and the government, and to promote the high-quality development of China’s electronic information industry. Manufacturing Digitalization Global Development Center(MDGDC)

Manufacturing Digitalization Global Development Center (MDGDC) is a specialized division of the Shanghai Manufacturing Creativity Promotion Center, itself an affiliate of the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics (SFIE). It operates under SFIE guidance as a non-independent legal entity.

Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Promotion Center for Yangtze River Delta

In 2020, with guidance from higher-level departments, Shanghai Electric Automation Group, the Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association, and key Yangtze River Delta enterprises jointly established the Shanghai Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Promotion Center for Yangtze River Delta.

The center streamlines industrial resources, boosts enterprise efficiency, fosters efficient collaboration in the industrial chain, and contributes to integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta.

Hangzhou Association for Artificial Intelligence(HAAI)

Established in 2012, the Hangzhou Association for Artificial Intelligence (HAAI) now has more than 500 members, 89 of whom serve on the board of directors. They are renowned scholars from AI-related departments of Hangzhou-based universities—Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, and Hangzhou Normal University—as well as technology leaders from leading companies such as Hikvision and Hangzhou Anheng Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Through expert consultations and assessment activities organized by provincial and municipal agencies—including the Science and Technology Associations, science-and-technology departments, and the Development and Reform Commission—HAAI’s specialists and members have played an active role in planning and project evaluation for AI and related industries at the provincial and municipal levels. By hosting and co-organizing academic conferences and other scholarly events, the Association leverages its strengths to foster domestic and international collaboration and exchange. These efforts not only showcase Hangzhou on the global stage but also broaden members’ perspectives and create new cooperation opportunities, thereby advancing industrial transformation and the development of the AI sector in Zhejiang Province and the city of Hangzhou.

Jiangsu Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance(JOTIEA)

为In order to give full play to the advantages of the Associations for Science and Technology in its extensive contacts with scientific and technological associations and high-level scientific and technological talents from overseas, and in response to the call of the CAST for the establishment of provincial-level seafarers' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance in each province, Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology (JAST), together with 8 organizations including World Green Design Organization (WGDO), EU China Municipal Development Commission (ECMDC), Sino European Federation Of Lifesciences (SEFL), Association of Chinese Doctors in Japan, launched the establishment of the “Jiangsu Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance” (JOTIEA) on June 22, 2021.

On December 3, 2021, JOTIEA held its first council, and 63 institutions including 13 overseas organizations, 13 municipal associations for Science and Technology, assorted science and technology services and investment and financing institutions became members of the first council. By May 2025, JOTIEA has 13 co-presidents and 228 members. In order to improve the efficiency of serving the key industries in the province, JOTIEA has successively set up five special committees. The members of each committee are composed of listed companies in the industry, universities, institutes, research platforms, etc., which fully embodies the professionalism and industrialization capacity.

Wuxi Society of Engineers(WSE)

Established on July 8, 2020, the Wuxi Society of Engineers (WSE) is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization that brings together leading experts, practicing engineers, and forward-thinking professionals in Wuxi’s engineering community, along with universities, research institutes, and enterprises that champion its mission.

Under the guidance of the Communist Party of China, WSE focuses on five core pillars: Party building, talent development, science-and-technology innovation, international exchange, and public service. Wuxi Digital Industry Federation

Wuxi Digital Industry Federation was established in January 2024, with Wuxi Bureau of Industry and Information Technology as the supervisory unit. With the aim of "bridging government and enterprises, integrating real numbers", the Federation focuses on Wuxi's digital industry chain, industry clusters and industrial development layout, and gathers elements of "high-end resources, high-end projects and high-end talents" with digital as the core. Founded on July 29, 1998, the Anhui Automobile Industry Association (AATA) is a non-profit organization distinguished by its regional strengths and sector-specific features.
